does anyone have a lsit or a website on how to change you last name - i cant beleive it but i am married now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You start by going to Social Security, with your marriage license and you fill out a form and then done.
Then go to the DMV, heads up you need to take a new pictures, and fill out the forms, show them your marriage license and i think it costs like $10 or something like that and then done.
Most credit cards you can change just by calling them up.
The bank you need to have your actual Social Security Card and new license, along with the marriage license before they will change your name so that gets done last.
For passport there is a form you can get off of the website to mail it in, you need to get new pictures and you have to mail them your original marriage license (they send it back) so save them for last.

When you get your marriage certificate back it will include the forms to change your SS# and your Driver's license. Those are number one. After that... all easy!

my marriage certificate did not come with any forms. It was just a piece of paper all by itself. The forms are easily attainable on the web or in person at each of the places.

*i worked for an auto insurance company and you cant change your name with that until you have legally changed it on your license.....hth.* AND your rates usually go down once you are married!
