Changing our HM - UPDATE

good morning ladies.. FH and i decided yesterday that we are going to change where we are going for our honeymoon. We really don't want to be second guessing everything and worrying about it when we are on our honeymoon.

So we are going to talk to our TA and change our plans. I want to enjoy our HM and not stress even the slightest bit.

UPDATE:

i spoke to my travel agent and we changed it to aruba - it isn't the same as the place we had but in the situation its awesome. we were able to save some money and now we'll be able to do some fun stuff - renting jeeps, etc. my TA was SO accomodating and i'm sure anyone who wants to change she will help you out no problem!

Sorry you had to change, but I am sure you will have a great time no matter where you go!!! Hey, maybe you guys can go to the spot you were supposed to go for your 1 year anniversary!!!

Where did you decide to go instead???

good decision I am changing mine as well we are both too close to leaving to be messing with potentianally getting sick on our HM. I am racking my brain trying to find some place else we want to go let me know what you come up with

i'm sure we will too i just know how i am and i really over think things and i don't want to think about ANYTHING on our HM. i'm not sure where we are going to go yet, i just e-mailed our TA to see where else we can go for the same price. we are on a really strict budget haha... so we'll see.

i love the idea of going there next year!! i was seriously stressing about the HM when all this started and i feel better knowing we are going to change our plans. its not worth the risk right now. i'm sure girls who are going in a month or two will have better luck with the situation being under control.

will do its so not worth the stress and i can get tan anywhere!

It's definitely not worth stressing over -- the HM should be a positive, wonderful, stress-free experience!

How exciting for you to have something totally new to look forward to all of a sudden! Can't wait to hear what you decide to do!!

we are staying at the Hotel RIU Palace Aruba. its a much bigger hotel than we initally planned on but its really beautiful and i'm really excited.

im so glad it all worked out....u guys r going to have an amzing time no matter what

Lately, Mexico has been struggeling with lots of issues. With the violence and stuff and now this other flu stuff.

thanks kerri! my TA was GREAT about everything! i e-mailed her this morning and by 12 we had a whole new honeymoon. HAHA

i am so relieved that we can do a bunch of stuff without worrying about the drama!

We changed our HM too. We were going to Rivieria Maya...but now we are going to Aruba.

I'm happy with my choice...I'm super excited.
My TA was very accommodating as well as the airline.

We're going to Aruba, too! Where are you guys staying? We're staying at the Occidental Grande. We keep hearing AMAZING things about Aruba - and you're going to have fun no matter where you go! :)
