anyone change rooms at your hall with 4 weeks to go? like going from a larger to a smaller room?? we're going to call to see if someone else is using it... but wondering if anyone has actually done it this close to the wedding?

Re: Changing rooms at hall??
I would think that if it is available there would not be a problem with the switch. I imagine that this means you've met the minimum for the bigger room?

oops I just noticed you said larger to smaller room. I wonder if your hall can throw something else in if you are not meeting your minimum but will still end up paying for the minimum. Speak to them and find out. Good luck

Re: Changing rooms at hall??
Friends of ours switched rooms at Jericho Terrace when they went to make their final arrangements because something else was cancelled... they had to pay slightly more for the new (bigger) room but I think that the extra money went to the people who cancelled. It's worth a shot to ask!

Re: Changing rooms at hall??
Hopefully we won't be as low as i feared, since we are allowing kids to come and asking some people to bring guests.
FH spoke to WM today and they said they will work with us and add some food to the cocktail hour or whatever so we really don't lose the money. so thats good!! i didn't want to leave the Manor Room.

Keep in mind that kids usually don't count towards your minimum.

Kids count towards your minimum, you just pay full price for them.
They just won't discount kids if you haven't met your minimum.
