I was thinking about changing the time of my wedding/reception to the evening. 7PM ceremony and reception till one. Right now its noon ceremony reception till 6PM. Do people really hang around till 1AM??? The whole reason I was going to have it in the afternoon was for the kids (and my daughter) that we were inviting. I know evening weddings are more fun... HELP... SOMEONE CONVINCE ME TO CHANGE IT or keep it at the time its at. (PS $ not an issue)

I personally love evening weddings!!!
So I guess you know what my answer is.
My wedding ends at 12 midnight.

I am having an evening wedding (also ends at 1am) I like evenings so much better than day weddings.
I am not having kids though so you have to consider that. I've been to weddings that end at 1am and most people stayed. Some left after dessert but you get that no matter what time the wedding is.

Im also an evening person. My wedding ended at 12:30 and most people were still hanging around long afterward. Some of the older folks left early but those people would leave early even if the party was at noon.
But if you are having a lot of kids - a reception that ends at 1Am might be a big problem.
