Changing the typical work hours of 9-5

Is it me or should they change it...LOL

It should be 9-3 or something....LOL

Ours is actually 9-4:30 cuz we take half hour lunches, but it's still better than nothing.

9-3 would be great!! I would even settle for 9-4. I currently work 8:30-5:30 now.

Now if we could work M-Th.....with a 3 day weekend

NOW THAT is something to cheer about...
2 hours is nothing for me

3 day weekend doesn't sound so bad...it would motive me to work more mon-thurs...LOL

I used to have that

We worked extended work days Mon-Thurs and were off on Fridays for the first 3 years I worked here.

Then we were bought out and now we're regular old M-F

I would love to work 9-3...2 hours may n ot seem like much but it would make a nice difference for me...I could get alot more done in the day by getting home earlier...plus on a day like today...getting home by 3:30 -4 would be sooo nice...time to enjoy it a bit

I work 6:30- 4 M-Th, and 6:30-10:30am on Fridays. I like it A LOT better than 5 full days a week!

I would prefer this, even if it meant working a couple more hours a day.

I work 7:30 to 3:30. I used to be more 9 to 5-ish but actually requested this schedule because I'm more of a morning person, and this way I can go into the city w/ DH and spend the train ride with him.

I work 8-5 and rarely leave at exactly 5. I agree, they should be changed!!!

Okay, how about work two days and five days off? The complete reverse of our normal week; this would definitely work for me. I wouldn't even mind staying late once in awhile (summers excluded).

I rather come in really early and get out in the afternoon. Like a 6-2 shift or something like that. I work 8:30-4:30pm which isn't terrible but I wish I could get out earlier.

I work 6 - 2, and I love it. My company actually requires you to work 9-5 or 8-4 or 8:30-4:30, but my boss actually works in an out of state office and the rest of the people in my group who work in his office work really wierd hours, so I asked him if I could work 6 to 2 and he said yes. I love it...I am usually home by 2:20

I would definitely back up working M-Th 8-6, and have a 3day weekend... where do I sign up!????

Also, in Spain, some companies have employees work M-Th 9-2 then 4-7 and Fri 8-3... how's that sound?
