Changing Wedding Date

So FH asked me to change the wedding to Jan 2011 since he will probably be getting military orders some time in the fall of 2010. So now im a 2011 bride the only one on here, all by myself
Guess it gives me a little more time to plan.

i'm sorry to hear that you have to change your date. but on the bright side it gives you plenty more time to save money and plan the perfect wedding!

Don't worry at all - you're right...lots of time to plan and get things just the way you want it! It will be here before you know it!

I totally agree with the other girls. I know its frustrating, but it will come before you know it. If you really think about it, you're only gettng married a few months after the girls that are getting married in the end of 2010 so, why dont you stick around on here with us being that theres no 2011 board!

I would try to look on the bright side...Its really not all that far away, and it gives you plenty of time to save and really plan. I know someone who had a 3 year engagement and she thought it was great! Stay here with us!!

Look at it this way- you can longer to plan so your wedding can be even better!! and Jan 2011 is SO close to 2010...so...you're still one of us!

Don't worry before you know it, your day will be here..and you'll have more time to plan and save up...AND, if you still book your vendors now, you might be able to get a discount
