my father recently passed away and i want it with me ...but i'll most likely change it in the future

I am because I want too!! Although it just doesn't sound right... it may be because unless I marry an Irish fellow, I think Colleen doesn't sound right with any last name lol.

it would just make my life easier (his is easy to pronounce and spell .. mine isnt )

Yes. I want to change it. We have the same first initial of our last name so my initials wont change :o)


I do love love mine, but now its a different chapter in our lives. I look at taking his name as a positive.

haven't completely decided...but i might add his on to mine! i'd miss it too much!

I'm going to be hyphenating .. for me that's the easiest thing to do.

To me its not a big deal since I've already changed it when my father adopted my sister and I when I was 7 .

i am hyphenating mine. Since my father passed away my name has come to mean alot to me
