Re: Channa Plaque
you don't need one, but they're really nice and you can keep them after you get married.
they're wooden plaques that you can have personalized with your names, wedding date, colors, etc.
a lot of people will display them at their wedding on the cake table or the head table where you and FH sit.
we call them 'channa plaques' because the woman who makes them is named Channa. she's super nice and reallyyyyy patient with us LIW girls lol
her website is

Re: Channa Plaque
depends on how big you'd like it to be. Also if your FH's last name is rather long, she recommends you choose a longer plaque, that way the letters aren't squished together. I personally got the 24 x 7.5', and after having it delivered today, I realized I could have gone with a small one. They are really big in real life. Here is her size chart/pricing info Family Name Plaques and Custom Plaques & Signs: 12' x 4' = $12.00 * 12' x 6' = $14.00 * 18' x 4' = $15.00 * 18' x 6' = $18.00 * 18' x 7½' = $20.00 * 24' x 6' = $20.00 * 24' x 7½' = $22.00 * 30' x 6' = $25.00 * 30' x 7½' = $30.00 * 30' x 9' = $35.00 * 30' x 11¼' = $45.00 * 36' x 6' = $30.00 *
