A lot of brides do 24x6....personally, I find that to be way too big (it's 2 feet long!)
FH and I did 18x4, which i think is the perfect size...

I got the 30x6. I love it. I have a long last name so it was perfect. Plus I want people to be able to read it down the line when we have it hanging up!!
