Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of chapped lips. My lips are always chapped and i always carry lip gloss with me, BUT this time my lips are so chapped it seems like nothing is working. I have been using caramex for tha last 3 days and no improvement, my lips are cracked and this morning it was bleeding a little

Body Shop Cocoa Butter Stick...or any of their chap sticks. They are all natural and work in a few days! I don't use anything else, and I had the WORST dry lips. They used to crack and bleed. Not anymore...

This happened to me like a couple of weeks before my wedding. i ahve prolly used every lip thing there is. LOL. Im addicted to lip balm. I think you should use Aquaphor. I couldnt get anything to work- even my favorites- and that made mine all better.
Other good ones are Kiehls #1 lip balm
and vasaline.
But def go buy the aquaphor!! Its also good for your cuticles when they are dry.
ETA: a dermatologist would probably also reccommend Aquaphor. it really is a great ointment and does work. its my favorite!

ok this is going to sound funny but if u mix sugar with water and make like a scrub, rub that on ur lips and it take the dry skin off......then i would just use carmex but i think vaseline out of the jar works the best and put a glop on at night b4 u go to bed....usually works for me....hope it helps

If they are chapped to the point of bleeding, I usually use a drop of neosporine

thanks lady for the info, i am going to try several of you suggestions tonight, and go from there, i was using regular cherry chapstick , but it wasnt working so i went to carmex. i am definately trying the sugar/water scrub thing tonight,and definatley going to the drug store to look from a new chap stick, thanks again
ps, i am increasing my water intake too, i never thought that it could be bc i am Dehydrated

Odd I am going through the same thing. I never get chapped lips in August. Vaseline and Vitamin E tablets help a lot.

I would start drinking a lot of water, and you can use a toothbrush to exfoliate the dry skin off your lips I SUPER love Rosebud Salve, you can get it at sephoria... I swear by it!

the BEST chap stick (in my op. ) is Aveeno Medicated Moisture...
the cream and blue tube. Honestly, TRY IT! It also gives a slight gloss to the lip and I think it even plumps a little. I go nuts without it and use nothing other than it
