Charger plates vs. Risers/staging

Ok ladies....Im hoping to enlist in some more of your help...were trying to figure out what is more important (there's not enough $$$ in the budget for both, so we need to pick 1). Were either gonna go with gold beaded charger plates for the tables or risers/staging for the band.
If u had to choose between the 2, which would u go with ?? TIA!!

Id go with the staging

I think it will be a lot more noticeable
most people will not notice the chargers

The thing with these chargers is that they're glass, very elegant, but unfortunately, with a price tag to match after doing the math, we figured out that the best we'd be able to do is about $6.50 per plate...and we'd need about 150! I love love love the look of it (will try to find a pic and post it, I'm not too savvy with that lol) but it's a lot of money... Were kinda with u, lovey, we feel it'll be a lot more noticeable if the band is playing on the floor than if we don't have charger plates...
