Charitable Donations....help!

Of course FH and I are waiting till the last minute on just about everything

We are going to do a donation in lieu of favors, and have Invitations and Beyond print up cards for us..

My question is...how much is appropriate?

What I would think is that $2/per person works. Since we have 246 as final count, we would donate $500.

Should it be more? Should it be less? Help!

Sounds about right. I'm not really sure how this works with respect what people spend on actual favors but I think it's a great idea and the number you suggested is fine!

I would say there isn't any specific amount that is 'appropriate'.

Think about the charity and what it means to you. Did you pick it for a specific reason?

All in all its about what you want to give and what you are most comfortable.
