Hey fellow 2011'ers! At the shower there will be a 50/50 raffle. The other half of the proceeds will be going to a charity. We have narrowed it down to 4 and want input as to which charity you would like the money to go to!

I chose St. Jude's- my friend just did that for her wedding- the writing in the scroll was soo nice!

hahahhaa! A lot of people really don't care about animals, so I HAVE to even it out because I can't even LISTEN to those sad commercials. That is actually what made me donate to the ASPCA in the past. Damn Sara McLaughlin!!!
yup i know - breaks my heart. I always end up donating when i get emails or see those commercials. makes me wnt to cry

I think by far the gulf is most deserving of any charity. Especially at this point in time.
They will be reeling from this oil spill for years to come

I said the Gulf - I love all the charities and i dont think its a matter of whats more important.
I just feel the Gulf has been kinda shafted in this whole mess and with it being a very current issue - i feel it needs the most immediate attention.

I have to go with the Breast Cancer charity. My FH lost his mother to Cancer a year before we met and I have never wanted to meet someone so badly in my life... I just wish that Cancer could be cured once and for all...

I'm most likely doing a donation for the ASPCA for my favors, so I go with the Gulf Relief Charity. That charity benefits wildlife, and they really need help down there.

Agreed - i think this is the best way to go. With us all being brides this is something that is close to everyone's heart.

PS- i voted ASPCA as well, but i'm just as happy with the money going to any charity- what a great idea girls!
seriously...sarah mclaughlin could be telling me to go f#uck myself but if she's singing with puppy dogs in the background, my wallets will be emptied.
I hate animal abuse commercials
I ended up voting for ASPCA too only because animals can't rally for themselves.
