What happens to a temp that you only take with only 2 hours of sleep? I've never had one before? I know they say to disregard it, but I really don't want to do that. The other night, my son, who is 12.5 months old had me up at 2:30am and didn't go back to sleep until 3:15. Then I got up a couple of hours later and took my temp. I would of taken it at 2:30, but I figured it would be too early, you know! I thought I'd have enough time until the time that I actually take my temp, but that didn't work out since my son took a lot longer than hoped to get back to sleep. So my temp from yesterday might be wrong? Actually it's on 1 hour and 45 minutes of sleep. Can anyone help me with this? Does it really make a big difference? Do you know if the temp should be higher or lower than what I got? Thanks!

Re: Charting - Temp with only 2 hours of sleep?
I think they recommend 3 straight hours of sleep. Otherwise you should probably discard it. Or mark it as disturbed sleep or something.

You mark in the temp but flag it so you know your sleep was disrupted. This way when charting your temp you will know remember when there was an irregular BBT.

It is NOT accurate so you should disregard. It is pointless to try and count it since it means nothing.

Thanks everyone... I didn't think that an hour would make that much of a difference!
