what made you ask this? Just curious...seems so old fashioned to wait for the wedding night anymore no? especially since many women are getting married at an older age

And I agree, it may be old fashioned and it seems like the girls who are waiting are in the minority, but there are some!

I think it is nice that some have chosen to wait...I personally think all merchandise should be 'test-driven' before buying!

I hope noone thinks Im judging anyone by their choice....you just dont hear about saving yourself much these days..women are very much 21st century these days ya know?

Funny topic, I told FH that when 3 months before the wedding rolls around we should stop 'fooling around in the sack' until our wedding night....he laughed at me!

I agree about the test drive!

Seriously though: if I am going to spend the rest of my life with someone, I want to be sure that we are compatible in all areas, if you know what I mean. I think its very important! Certainly no offense meant to those who chose to wait as it is surely a very personal decision.

I didn't want anyone to be offended either...I think it is a personal choice...

I was just very lucky that my one and only is my future husband....our teenage hormones were oout of control and we werent even thinking about saving it for marriage....so in a way, i guess we saved ourselves but just for each other

Ahh, if you go to a Catholic college you do!! Sophomore year of college (19/20 years old), I was one of only 8 girls... OUT OF 44 (on my floor)... that wasn't a virgin. And, the majority of the rest were waiting until their wedding, not just that they hadn't yet.

I would have had to get married at 16 to make this viable
