I just got off the phone with Chateau Briand and they told me that there is a 125 person minimum in order to have my reception there! The questionnaire online asked how many people I was going to have and it listed 'under 100'. UGH. Did anyone else have this issue?
I'm having around 80+ people and I have meetings with the Carltun (Palm Court), Captain Bills and the Snapper Inn....

I know some places were flexible with the minimum if you had a wedding on a Thursday night.

if you are wanting a saturday it might be a little tuff.
when we were looking they said the minimum had to be 135. we were able to get it at 125.
if you really like and want the place you might be able to get the minimum down a little.

They might be a little more flexible if the wedding is not on a saturday night. Many places lowered their minimums if i chose a Sunday night, afternoon, Friday night , etc.

I know this isn't answering your question, but Westbury Manor has a small room and it's gorgeous there.

We are having it a CB and our minimum on a sat night is 126.

also westbury manor can meet that minimum...i love it there and the food is delish!

I can totally 2nd the Manor( thats my place). I have the smaller room and its georgous. If you have your wedding during off season they may be more flexible with the min

Ours is a sunday twilight and the minimum was 125. I bet you could get it down to 100 though because they seemed flexible enough. I would go in and sit with them if you havent already and try to get them to do it. Saturday night will probably be hard but u can prob get a less minimum for a sunday or friday. The price was so reasonable that you might be ablet o compromise and get 100 minimum even if you only have say 90 people

we had ours at Larkfield manor. they have a second room with 120 as max and the gyuaranteee I think is 75 - - at least for a Sun nite and we actually got it with a guarantee of 60 since we were expecting betw 70 and 80.
