Chateau Briand

Hi Girlsssss...... I was wondering if anyone is getting married or has gotten married at the Chateau Briand recently.... If so I was wondering approximately how much they have or are charging you per person. If theres any suggestion on what not to get or what room to have at our wedding please share. Good or bad reviews welcome. TYIA

Re: Chateau Briand

I went to a wedding at The Chateau..(That's what they call themselves now)..It was a Saturday Morning..I was 'nice' could have been better but the I could tell the bride was on a budget and did the best she could. Coctail hour was awesome and the service was great. I wish they would have given more attention to the ceremony..It was an outdoor ceremony but it is the same place where they have the outdoor reception. I have seen pictures of what an outdoor reception there could look like and it was awesome. Like having ur wedding at a nite club.
P.S. The food was great.

I ruled out CB b/c it's on the main road and across from the mall. Then I thought about the fact that no one will care once they're inside and enjoying the party! So, now, I'm going to make an appt. to go have a looksey!

I love Chateau Briand and really could not picture us anywhere else....our banquet manager is Susan and she is amazing...FH and I liked her as soon as we met her.

I was iffy about the main road also...but was blown away when we went inside for the first time. That's how I want my guests to experience our venue.

Ive been to a few weddings there. Once you get inside you completely forget about the road.

One of the reasons i picked it was because of the road... i am having a January wedding and it is and emergency rout so it is one of the first roads cleared in a snow storm.

ETA: i see that your planning on a June wedding so i am guessing a cleared snow rout doesn't really apply to you

Everyone says ooooo its off a major road but its VERY easy to get to especially if you have people who dont know the area. You arent outside for every long but noone is really going to care its all about the food and the music during the Reception that people talk about. I went to a ceremony outside and you really dont even realize you are off a main road.

we love CB, very nice high ceilings, beatidul garden. We're actually gonna have the CH and reception during the night so our guests can take advantage of the gardens

You sound just like me!!

last year when i started my hall search; i wouldn't even think of CB b/c i didn't like that it was right across from the mall and on such a main road. But after going to their showcase in January...i was blown away! Once you pull into the driveway you totally forget where you are! THe waterfall out front; the massive lobby!

The rooms just make you forget where you are and you/your guests will have a blast!

One thing that also sold me was that the reception rooms don't have windows. I'm having a daytime wedding ; and i love the fact that my guests will be able to eat; drink; dance and let loose and not hold back b/c it's daytime. I much prefer that then having all the light coming in and realizing it's 2pm in the afternoon and i should watch how much i drink! LOL!

Good luck on your hall search!

Lol that's one of the main reasons I chose CB also!! I'm having my weeding in January and ITA! Also, a majority of my guests are elderly and I wanted a venue that is relatively close and easily accessible to all my guests.
