Re: Chateau Briand brides please post your cake if you used in house cake

Their FREE cakes are very basic. if you go to the newlywed side you will see a bunch of us CB bride had just about the same cake. I will BRB with my cake. If you want anything fancier it is from the 'pay additional money book' My hubby was not going for it at all

My florist provided them with the flowers and the petals and the candles and they only put the topper on, so I call my cake the naked cake

Re: Chateau Briand brides please post your cake if you used in house cake

I have noticed that other Scotto Bros brides also have similar cakes. I wonder if they all have the same books Hey no matter what the cake looks like, I can tell you one thing, they are darn delicious.

That was one of my options, but I wanted the basket weave with the separate tiers. That cake is beautiful tho'

Re: Chateau Briand brides please post your cake if you used in house cake

I'm pretty sure all the Scotto cakes are made by Erga Bakery.
I was married at Watermill and this was my cake.
Chose from included choises. Flowers done by my florist Flowers by Liz.
Sorry photo is so dark, scanner stinks!

Re: Chateau Briand brides please post your cake if you used in house cake

I love the basket weave look. That is what my cake will be but not sure about all the tiers and such. Our BM showed us the book b/c my mom was concerned about the house cake and likes the basket weave style.

For those that had flowers added to the cake, who took care of placing them on the cake? CB or the florist?

Re: Chateau Briand brides please post your cake if you used in house cake

My florist was ready to put it on but she said when she got there they did not have it set up so she had to leave everything for them to do. AS you can see they missed a lot from my cake, my cake is nekkid

Shamma your cake may be nekkid but it is beautiful. The columns separating the tiers adds to the beauty.
