So i'm trying to cross RHs off my list and not waste time...i'm looking at the Chateau Briand and would love to hear the good, the bad and the ugly! Feel free to FM me! The specs: I need a place that can comfortably hold 200-300 (its looking like 250). I am planning a star wars wedding, not that it really matters with the RH. Food MUST be amazing!!! Price below 200pp all incluceded.

def check out the chateau. they have a really big room and I think you can even come up out of the floor in the big room.

Definitely take a look there! Our guest list is at 375 right now (looking for about 200-250 people to come total). We're booked in the mid-size room and there is more than enough room in there! Plus you get to come up through the floor which is awesome!!!
They have an even bigger room too!
Oh and we are paying waaaaaay less than that, just so you know.

How many weddings at one time? I kinda have my heart set on only one per day.
Coming through the floor is cool, but not a make or break point for us.
Food is #1 and i've heard that its kinda hit or miss....so that scares me.

Oh ok, inflection is a little difficult to decifer on a message board lol.
Totally heard that the food is hit or miss (multiple people saying its either amazing or ick), do they do tasting?

Yes, they will do a tasting. (We actually had 2 to really make sure that we wanted to book there.)
The food is made so that the majority of people will like it. If you are like FH and I and like to add 10 tons of salt to everything, you might not like it. We ended up bringing our family to help us decide since we are vegetarians and couldn't get an idea of how the food would be received.
Everyone loved it!!!!

It's usually 2, but they schedule them so that no one will run into each other.
As of right now we are the only wedding on our day!

Cool, i'm gonna discuss the list with my FH....he's already set on Sand Castle, but i really wanna make sure i see everything (or at least the ones that are important to me). We shall see!!! Thanks guys for the opinions.

there was another event goin on but we were upstairs so we didnt even see anyone else.
the only thing that got fcuked on my day was my CAKE!!!
we used cb house bakery.

i had my wedding there and it was great, food was good, loved our room, the outside is great and we had a good time... we had 250 ppl in the big room upstairs... there was another party going on that was over at 8 (our party was 6:30-11:30) and i didn't even know that other ppl were there... ask for a tasting, i brought like 5 ppl with me lol... go check it out, we paid way less than 200 pp and it was fabulous
