Chateau Briand-Lighting Question

My Reception is in the Normandy Room-thats the room that you come up from the floor. As of now, I have the spot light-type of lighting booked through my DJ. I'm thinking of doing the Perimeter Room Lighting (Uplighting) but I'm not sure if its needed in that room.

Girls that have had their receptions in that room or been to weddings in that room, what is your opinion?

you should go back to chateau briand and take a look at the room again.

we are in the saturnia and wanted up lighting as well.
we went back only to find out they have mirrors on most of the walls.
if the walls are dark it wont work either.
i know the two rooms upstairs have some type of fabric on the walls.
i wish i could remember if they have it in your room downstairs.

When I went there Tom said that they installed lighting on the walls. I would be able to tell them the color that I wanted and if they had it...they could do it. Its not considered uplighting because the ilghts arent on the bottom- they come from the top but it gives the same effect. We are in that room as well and were planning on getting the uplighting- but not anymore!

Be careful though because I was told that they will have lights on the walls also - giving the uplighting effect but as of now the lights are not installed.
