CHATEAU BRIAND -- PLEASE READ

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to take a moment to talk about my experience with Chateau Briand. I booked with them in July for my wedding in July 2010 and from the moment I walked into the building for my appointment, they have been extremely accomodating and have provided exceptional service. I am on an extremely tight budget and my BM worked hard and was flexible in finding something for me that works within my budget. She has received ALL of my phone calls, always offering suggestions as to how to execute some of my ideas in a way that fits my budget, and has even offered some ideas of her own based on her years of experience.

In a previous post, a statement was made that may have suggested to the contrary, and I just want to be clear that my experience with Chateau and my BM has been nothing but EXCEPTIONAL! i could not have asked for anything more!!

That would more than likely be my post. I had a horrible experience with them. I really wanted to have my wedding there and just the attitude of the BM i met with was a huge turn off for me. I looked at other halls I didn't like as much and the service was much better. If anyone wants to know I will even give a name of the BM that is how much I stand by what I said. I do noot believe I should book before questions about changes I NEED made to the menu can be answered. I am happy you had a wonderful experience. I was just sharing my own.

I'm not sure of the circumstances of your negative experience, but i did LOTS of research before booking with Chateau and spoke to many, many brides who all had amazing reviews. So, it sounds like 99.99999% of the time, things are stellar.

I just hope that other brides reading this looking for a venue will not be deterred by your bad experience, and will give this place a chance and allow their own experience before making a choice.

fortunately, i have no complaints, but i am certain that if there were ever any concerns they would be addressed immediately and to my satisfaction.

but, again, i do not say this to minimize your experience. i just don't want brides to be discouraged and lose the opportunity to have their wedding at this beautiful venue.

I had the same experience. Loved the location, food, the the attitude with the BM turned me off too.
