Chateau Briand vs. Westbury Manor

OK HELP

So I narrowed it down to 2 places.........CB I love there ballroom and outside cocktail hr., not loving where the actual ceremony takes place and if it rains will be unhappy with inside cocktail hr
WM- love everything about it, except the ballroom and if it rains I am ok with the inside.........
I am having serious anxiety and cant make a decision!!!
ANY THOUGHTS/SUGGESTIONS

I would go with Chateau Briand.

CH- you're only in there for an hour. The ballroom you're in for 4 hours. I think I would go with CB since you dont seem to really like WM's ballroom.

I am partial to the manor since that is where i am getting married. I must say i do agree with SummerBride10. The CH is only 1 hr and if are not taking pictures before you wont even make it to the CH. You spend alot more time in the ballroom and that is where you will have pictures of you and FH...not in the CH

I was not a huge fan of Westbury Manor's ballroom either. I have never seen Chateau Briand, so I can't really comment on that.

I'm guessing you don't have the problem meeting the min? We weren't comfortable guaranteeing what CB wanted from us, so we went with WM. It is a hard decision, but if you can't decide, maybe there is a 3rd place you could take a look at, maybe Fox Hollow?

My vote is for Chateau Briand I am bias they did such a great job please read my review you can see the pics of the ground in the night time gorgeous!!!

I went to view both venues and decided on Chateau Briand.

Westbury Manor had a beautiful outside but I personally was not a fan of the room. The celling was to low for me. I loved Chateau Briand and LOVE my room, although it dosent have the beautiful outside garden it still has a very tropical maimi outside feel.

But I say go for what you love.

I'm a little partial to chateau briand but go with what you like better... and as other people said, you're only in your CH for 1 hour and in the ballroom for 4 so dont get too crazy about the CH

CB is a very nice place! Fh's bro's wedding was there and it was really nice, I must say that the services was ok! i never got to try the cake because it never made our table, but thats besides the point, I am a WM bride i think it all comes down to what kind of vision do you have. CB and WM are very different maybe you can think about the theme of your wedding from a cozy RH into a more modern, loungy looking venue!

For me, it was the amount of food that I am getting at WM . I am also very pleased with the grounds at WM.

I did visit with CB and the price quote I received was wayyyyy out of my ballpark. I guess it was because of the time of year I wanted (summer) and I never went back to check the prices for a March wedding because I loved WM so much.

I am partial to WM but I am biased. Like a couple of other girls posted you only spend one hour in the CH room and the rest of the time in the ball room.

I'd probably keep looking at other halls...your paying lots of $$ and should be 100% content

buttt...if you don't want to keep looking I'd go with CB because you'll be spending more time in the ballroom

I had the same problem choosing between chateau and WM. I loved the grounds but the ballroom is way too small. We actually signed with WM and ended up cancelling our contract because we felt like if it rains, we would be inside anyway and also the room looks too small - how many people are you having?

We saw Chateau first and fell in love with it except that it's right next to some stores, but in the end, once you drive in you forget where you are. The oasis is beautiful and so is the cocktail area room. We are in Saturnia and love the ballroom feel. Our BM, Jeff is great and we are getting A LOT of food so we are really excited.

There is a tea party at Chateau tonight at 7, see if you can come by - give them a call. I agree with the other girls, CH is only 1 hour and you'll be in the ballroom the rest of the time.

I thought WM ballrooms and CH were way to small and I didnt want that tight feeling especially for CH. I liked CB because it felt a little more modern and the rooms and CH room were bigger then what I saw for my mininmm. Also its so easy to get to.

both have really different styles so what do you like more? I visited both and I preferred WM's gardens and decor, but again that was just me.

I am partial to WM since I got married there but I was in the small room so I don't know what the ballroom was like. For the record, the food and service at WM was impeccable and I am a person that will always find something to complain about
