A friend of mine is seriously considering having her wedding at Chateau La Mer. If you've gone to a wedding there, how was it? She said that the reception room looks like it would be tight for about 160. Also, how was the food & service?

Having our wedding there....what room is she considering? The downstairs one holds up to 300! Was she looking upstairs? Heard lots of raves about service and food...there are a few reviews on that board. Good Luck!

She was looking @ the room downstairs & they also told her it holds 300, but she thought that would be way too tight.

I'm having my wedding there and I have 150 guests. 10 less then your friend if you put 6 tables around the window put friend and BP there and then put 10 table in yhe back by the bar.

I had 150 and I thought it was perfect fit. I think we could have put about 4 more tables in there before it started to feel a little squished.

I went to a wedding there in October and it was great. The food and service were excellent I am even considering it for my rehearsal dinner.
