Chateau La Mer

Has anyone been to a wedding at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst? We're seriously considering it and would just like some feedback since we've never been to a wedding there

We went to a wedding there about 2 years ago and I thought it was beautiful. The wedding was in June so it was really nice to be able to hang out outside. They were both very happy with it and as a guest I thought it was beautiful. If you're thinking of getting married there, I would recommend it in the summer so you can take advantage of the water and view. Also, they have a dock there so (just an idea), you could come to the reception via a boat. That's what we're doing at the Riviera....
Hope this helps!

Thanks so much, that definitely helps! We plan on getting married in July 05, so would definitely take advantage of the outside. When we checked out the place this past weekend they told us about arriving by boat and we LOVE that idea. Also checked out the Riviera, which is really beautiful...you must be excited! :)

I went to a wedding there where the couple arrived by boat. It was very cool. The place is beautiful - in the inside there are huge windows with tons of light. The food is so-so, in my opinion.

I had my Engagement Party there last April. I was pleasantly surprised by their service -- it was amazing!! Everyone raved about the food which I was surprised at too! All in all it was a great experience there and I would definitely recommend it.

There are a couple of us La Mer brides on here - ask us anything you want!! You should definitely go to a tasting dinner - the food was great!

I went there for work and it was great! The food was DeLiCiOuS! I am actually going back March 11th for another work thing. Let me know if you want me to check anything out for you! Last time I took pics but they didn't come out good...I'll try again!~

We're going to a tasting tomorrow night. I'm so happy to hear you thought the food was great. I loved the place, and Nick the banquet planner was really helpful. Did you arrive on the boat? My fiance and I are really excited about that. Was your wedding in the summer? If anyone has any pictures I'd love to see! Thanks for being so helpful. :)

The food tasting was great and Nick just seemed like he could take care of everything on our wedding and have everything be absolutely perfect. We're getting married in the winter, so no boat for us, but the new chapel they are building was a big draw too.

I had my engagement party there last August and everything was great. The people could not have been nicer to us. Our guests were talking about our party for a long time afterwards. They do a really nice job there. Good choice.
