CHATEAU LA MER ??

Chateau La Mer was one of the places I wasn't considering because of the more than 1 weddign at a time thing..but loved that it was on the water (something i really want). After reading reviews on here about how wonderful it is I am reconsidering. But I have one question. I know that Nick (the guy I met with there ) told me that the weddings are an hour and a half apart....but if my wedding was first (on a sat )...and we were up in teh reception room would be be able to see the other reception and boat arrival going on? Because there is clear view of the water from the reception room and I don't wnat to see another bride or party that day. Please let me konw if you have any information about how this works or if you had your wedding there! Thanks so much!!!

Hi, I'm a fellow CLM bride & luckily found out as of now there's no other party that night!!!!!!! I'm in the downstairs room.

The earlier wedding is usually upstairs & we live right near there & would sometimes go down & watch the boat come in w/ B&G from the dock. The upstairs wedding could see downstairs & the CH IF they are right at the window looking, but if you were just dancing/eating, etc. you see far out on the water.

It's a wonderful place though & Nick is awesome. There's a huge thread on the 06 board about CLM

my wedding is upstairs but I have the later time so I dont know if the downstairs party will be our arrival or CH but they will be in there rooms before I need to be there so that makes me

I had my wedding there but it was on a Friday night and were were the only people in the entire building.

They will coordinate the times so there are no conflicts!!! The party upstairs on my wedding is going to be over before mine starts.
