I know I am so annoying with all of these questions. Anyhow, I went tonight to look at Chateau La Mer and LOVED it. They are doing so much work and I can't get over the view, and the entrance on the yacht. I am concerned about the bad reputation it has gotten over the years. I live in Lindenhurst so I know that people cringe when you say the name. The guy said they have a new owner and the food is great. Has anyone been to a wedding there recently? Any feedback would be marvelous.

Re: Chateau La Mer Food and Weddings
I have been there for a few weddings and also for brunch a few times and Im sorry to say that everytime I went the food wasnt good. Everything that should have been hot was cold and everything cold was hot. Things were too salty. Maybe now that its under new management it will be better but in the past, it was too good!!
Happy Planning! Lisa

I was there a couple of months ago for some Murder Mystery Dinner. I thought the food was good.

I was there for 2 weddings and I don't remember the food. That is a good thing- if it was bad I would have remembered.

Hey bluesky, I have posted so many times in the past about Chteau La Mer. Do a search aand you will see what I had to say. But in a nut shell I have been there 2 times recently and I plan to go have my wedding there. The food is awesome. The view is beautiful and the place is elegant. The service cant be beat. All the bad past things are in the past. Period!! My cousin just went to a food tasting (free) and booked on the spot!! The place is amazing. You'll love it. Good luck
