Hey everyone. I am getting married at Chateau La Mer next August. We still have not booked any of our vendors. Did anyone use any great vendors there that they absolutely loved? Photographers? Limos? DJS? Florists? Weare looking into Unlimited Entertainment for a DJ since they book through there, so we were thinking that might be easier. Has anyone used them? Thanks!!!

not sure exactly which ones are their vendors, but i do know all-star limo is a vendor of theirs and they're supposed to be real good, heard only great things

We were going to use only CLM vendors as well since we're getting married there. But we didnt really like Unlimited Entertainment. I've heard great things about them, but we didnt get a great vibe from those we met at a CLM food tasting. We booked FM entertainment for DJ and they are cheaper than Unlimited and we really liked Frank, the owner and our DJ. They recommend Velvet Studios for photography and video, and we are using them. There pictures are amazing. They recommend All Star for Limos, we are using them as well. If you go to CLM's website and click on affiliates it tells you those they recommend.
Oh and by the way, there's an official CLM thread I started. I'll add you to the list, and if you have any other CLM related questions post on there too!

Congrats! We were going to book their photographer Velvet but went with their other house vendor photographer Patken both are very good with resonable prices.
I didn't care for their house dj - we setup a appointment after we were there for the tasting and he seemed a bit 'guido' for us so we went with another dj that we have seen in action MANY times and does a great job - High Energy Entertainment.
Florists - I tried so hard to have the Little Flower Shop I live and grew up a block away from that shop but after a problem with them when we ordered flowers I couldn't book with them due to trust issues. I wouldn't say do not go meet with them - i know they do great work.
Limo's - we are not doing them so can't comment.

We also looked into Unlimited and while the prices were perfect, we weren't too impressed. So our search continues...
We are going with Thomas Paul (e-pics today!). Velvet Studio has amazing pictures also but I just felt more comfortable with TP.
I have heard many good things about All Star on here, however, I heard a horror story from the outside world about how they didn't show up for a wedding recently!!!
Flowers I will just do closer to home.
Definitely check out their vendors but don't limit yourself. Find vendors that you love not just ones that are convenient! It is a good place to start though!!!

I am using Thomas Paul Photography, April Flowers (really great ideas for cheap!), Enchanted Video with Steve Rosen (does amazing work and not listed on LI weddings!!), After Hours Entertainment, and Cruise Control Limousine.
We looked at All Star Limo, but they were rather pricey. We booked a 10 person stretch and an antique rolls for less than $800. I think at All Star it was like $1,200.

hi, so u are getting married in August? Are you having the ceremony outside? i am going to CLM on friday to meet Lou. Anything you can tell me regarding price? an august 09 wedding is where i am hoping since i can use the outdoor parts of the hall

I'm going with these CLM vendors: All Star Limo -- very professional Duet -- outstanding Little Shop of Flowers -- down to earth and creative
I chose not to go with Patken because of some comments he made the night of the food tasting but his work was beautiful. I met with Velvet Studio at the same tasting but in the end chose not to go with them either but they are pretty nice. The house dj was boring boring boring.

Hii, I was so surprised when I saw this post up! I was like, I didnt write that! Then I realized I did months back hahahha. FM me if you want some prices I got a great deal. I am not doing the outdoor ceremony since we are getting married at a church but we will be using the outdoor area for cocktail hour. I cant wait! CLM is def awesome! Good luck planning!!!!
