I've been there a few times, what kind of comments? beautiful view, but I haven't been there in about 5 years or so, went to bamitzvahs there and a few sweet sixteens.

We booked there for next June. It was perfect for the price and the location. We just went to a tasting last week and everything was wonderful. We dealt with Nick there and he was really nice and easy to deal with. Nick told us that the managment changed over the last couple of years and they are doing a lot of renovations that will be ready by they end of the year.

Went to a wedding their last month. The food and service was very good, the view was awesome and because I was still looking for site locations, I asked what the price range was. It was very reasonable. If my friend didn't offer her house in Brookville, I would have definitely considered this place.

I'm getting married there July 4th of next year. A few other girls on here are having there reception there also.
Chateau La Mer has a beautiful view and the price is very reasonable. They have been under new ownership for a couple of years now and are doing a bunch of renovations to the place which is an added bonus. The managers there have been great so far. Welcome to the boards and tell us about yourself??!!

Natasha's brother got married there last year, you can Fm her for more details on this. My GF got married there 2yrs ago, I like the place from her pix, but I cannot say anything about service, food etc.

we considered there but it wound up that we figured it would be cold in november when we were getting married so thats the reason it came off our list - the staff was great and if you want they have food tastings(think free dinner!) once a month or so - they even offered to pack up our leftovers to take home!!

I LOVE CHATEAU LA MER!!!!!!!!!
My reception will be there next July 30th and i am so psyched. We got an amazing price, and Nick there is so awesome. The food at the tasting was so delicious, that even my Naggy step mom approved (and believe me that doen't happen often)
It totally fitsour tastes. Were both big water lovers and the view is beautiful I cant wait for my cocktail hour on the deck. No Fancy chandeliers or anything just a big room with floor to ceiling window and an awesome view.

It is definitely unique from other places but we love it. FM me if you have any specific questions, I would love to help. Good Luck!!!
