Chateau Le Mer renovations?

I went to CLM a while back and really liked it as an option for my ceremony and reception but at the time was told that they were in the process of remodeling their chapel. Does anyone know if this remodel is either done or close to being done because I feel uncomfortable booking a place without seeing the chapel and the BM had no blueprints or pictures for us to look at.

Oh really? Because the BM told me it would be done by the Fall of 2005! I really liked it, but was turned off that he could not even show us any blueprints or give us any idea of what it would look like.

Maybe it will be done in January. I was there for a food tasting the other night (it was really good by the way) and I think it was still getting done. FM Shellycakes123, She'll know when they will be done, shes nuts!!!

We went on Sunday and they gave us tour of the facilities, downstairs the offices are remodeled and so is a new bridal suite - (beautiful bathroom!) The Chapel is still under construction, but it looks like its coming along.

What were your thoughts? I liked the place alot, but there were things that bothered me, like the bathroom in the lobby could have been cleaner; they were setting up the main room for a reception and I noticed the rugs had not been vacuumed; some of the mirrored glass was dirty; also the dome windows were dirty and had a couple of old helium balloons left over from a previous party. and the wood floors could use a nice polish. My fiance likes it alot... but i didn;t fall in love. the Rep was very nice and friendly, and the price was great. I would prob only add the chocolate fountain.

What other places are you seeing? We just started scouting.
