Just wondering if anyone has gotten/been to a wedding at Chateau La Mer. How was the service, the food, anything!

I've been to 2 weddings at CLM and the food is AMAZING! I still talk about how good the food is to people. Service was great as well.

I'm having my wedding at Chateau La Mer in November. I went to the Wedding of the year there last year and the food was amazing as was the service. You can always call to go for a food tasting. They have one every other wednesday.

Yep booked there after a few xmas parties and events i attended there went off so well. I was so pleased even at the TWOTY 07 even after booking it made me love the place even more.
Great service and great food and if you want to see it deff. do a food tasting they don't make you book it before you can do one. They make sure you are happy with them first.

I booked with CLM. I think they are fabulous. We had a food tasting and booked immediately after. The food is very good. I don't have first hand experience with the service (except at the food tasting) but I have heard only good things. Also, whenever I go there to discuss wedding stuff, Lou and Nick are always so nice and helpful.

Re: Chateua La Mer
i just got married there 3 weeks ago and it was amazing..
i went there when i was 5yrs old for a school lunch and said i wanted to get married there..well..17 years later i did!!! i had moved out of state when i was in high school but when it came to planning the wedding i knew i was going to book there..i didnt even go look anywhere else when i went up to NY for a week to book vendors
they are the best staff to work with and will go above and beyond to make your day perfect
i got married in feb on a sat night and i paid $70 a person
they do not knock of tax if you pay cash though..no biggie
i promse you will not regret your decision if you book there
if you want to know anything since i just had my wedding there..please FM and ill tell you anything you want to know..and ill be honest...if anything bad happpend there ill let you know..which nothing did
Definitely negotiable with price..I was originally quoted $60 pp for 2.20.09 and was called at home later and offered $55! We ended up booking elsewhere but I really liked the place and the price!

Here is my question... I met with Lou. However, everyone is saying to stick with Nick as your BM. What if its too late? Does Lou just do the main tour and Nick is the BM of the place?
