Anyone that got married or is getting married at CHCC who is your banquet manager? We were assigned to Leo, but it seems like lately I am having a hard time getting a hold of him. If you have/had Leo does anyone have his email address????

Re: CHCC banquet manager
We don't have Leo, but I'm sure you can call CH and ask to work with another BM. We have Sharon, and she's phenomenal, but we've also dealt with Helen when we came in for a payment, and she's also great.
If you want, you can call today and ask to speak with Sharon. let me know how it goes.

Also, I know I am probably driving you nuts..but I know you are getting married May 2012 but has CHCC contacted you for anything? Do you know when you pick your food or table color or anything? I feel like Leo never explained this to us

Re: CHCC banquet manager
Hey, that's what LIW is all about! Sharon said a couple of weeks before the wedding, we start picking out linens...etc.
She gave us her card with her email and said if we have ANY questions, feel free to contact her. She is a fantastic businesswoman and really cares about presentation and making it an extaordinary day for everyone, which is why I think you should call and ask to speak with her
Don't worry about feeling bad for switching, just remember that this is a huge investment of time and money, so you deserve to be in the best hands.

Re: CHCC banquet manager
I'm not using CHCC but I switched my banquet manager at the Inn at NHP because to be completely honest, I hated the b!tc#. Honestly, they don't look at it as hurting anybody's feelings, they want you to be happy so switch it up if it'll make you feel better.

Re: CHCC banquet manager
I think it's fine to switch! Perhaps by saying that a friend highly recommended the BM you wish to switch to, it would be a less objectionable way to go about it? I am working with Mitchell and he has been great so far (though we haven't had to do much). He has been there for over 10 years, so I feel like he's a pretty solid bet there! So, you could, for example, call and say, 'Mitchell came highly recommended, would it be possible to resume my planning with him?'

I am using Sharon also and I absolutely love her!
If you are not comfortable with Leo then I would call up and ask if you can switch to someone else. It is more important that you are happy than worrying about hurting their feelings!

Re: CHCC banquet manager
Thanks girls so much! After listening to your advice I decided to email Sharon. She was amazing! I swear she emailed me back in two hours all of the questions to my answers. I feel so much better. She said my next contact would be about 2 months before the wedding. As far as Leo no contact yet!!!
