Marriott Residence Inn in Plainview. Hilton Garden Inn was a close runner up though and Laurie is awesome to deal with
I did the Fox Hollow because its soo close. i also went to look at the hilton garden inn, and the 4 points by Sheraton.
i second Laurie being great to work with! I did my room block with her (at the Hilton Garden Inn Plainview). The hotel is new and well kept. I also had to take into consideration that the Marriott doesnt offer smoking rooms and my father is an OOTer and a smoker so the hilton was an easy choice for me!
we are doing it at La Quinta in Garden City...it's a little further than some others from CHCC but theres a lot in that area and easy to get around since we have soo many OOTers without cars. they have a shuttle that drives to the mall, local restaurants and the train station plus the rooms are really nice and i love their customer service!
