Re: CHEAP AIRFARE
i've found Orbitz to be cheapest most of the time ... plus, if someone else books a similar trip for cheaper, you get a check for the difference (you get paid about a month after your trip though)

try looking at flights out of Newark ... they're often a bit cheaper for some reason.

I usually book with expedia. When I booked Vegas last week, Expedia was the cheapest. Cheaper than a travel agent even!

I use kayak.com and bing.com (travel alerts). Kayak lets you compare airfare on different days along several different airlines, and bing is really good for updating you when the airfare goes down.

Re: CHEAP AIRFARE
cheapcaribbean.com has awesome inclusive deals. It's hotel and flight, and sometimes food and drink. Most of the places are realllllllly nice. If you're going to MExico or Caribbean I highly recommend. Or Orbitz

I have used Kayak in the past, it lets you look up multiple ticket sites at once

Re: CHEAP AIRFARE
KAYAK all the way! you cant purchase directly with kayak...it just compares all sites (expedia/orbitz/travelocity etc etc) and links you to those sites with a click of the mouse.
it also has a matrix/grid feature so you can judge when flights are cheapest etc (if you have flexibility when you travel)
