Where is a good, quick place to go for a short vaca? FI and I want to get away for 4 days to somewhere beachy.. any ideas?
We're looking to spend less than 2k... We already looked into Bermuda & Ponce, PR.. which are both a possibility... any other ideas??

Florida Ilve ther (here) and it's going to be 78-81 degrees all week. You can stay near me on Clearwater Beach for under $100 a night. FM me for more info. Flights are $99 each way on S. West

jet blue is having some good deals (for flights)... $69 each way from jfk to ft lauderdale, orlando, or west palm beach $79 each way from jfk to san juan, ponce, aguadilla PR $89 each way from jfk to bermuda $102 each way from jfk to cancun $109 each way from jfk to san diego

also, try expedia.... click on 'deals and destinations' they always have good stuff!
with a quick search i found deals to...
jamaica -- air + 4 nights for $1138 (for ritz carlton!) or all inclusive for $898 or $945 (diff hotels)...
grand cayman -- air + 4 nights for $965 - $1237 (randing from 3-4 star hotels)
st lucia -- air + 4 nights from $717 to $1038
aruba -- air + 4 nights from $751 to $1679
even hawaii has good deals!
[[keep in mind that i have no clue what the weather is like in any of these places though!]]
Dominican Republic- only because it is SUPER CHEAP... and 4 days is just enough then you get tired of it... most all hotels are all inclusive.

I'll second the Dominican Republic- esp. Punta Cana. You can find some great deals online. Here's some pics from my trip there- stayed at Sol Melia Tropicale in PC:

I agree i absolutely loved bermuda...Find out prices for hotels and restaurants there though bc bermuda can be pretty expensive...Their gas alone is $6 a gallon...but if you get good prices its so beautiful.
Also Dr is cheap and you should definitely look into it.
I went to coconut grove florida recently, which is like 10-15 mins away from miami but personally i think its nicer and so much fun...Theres one place right next to another, senor frogs, fat tuesdays and many more, great shopping area, restaurants, its basically one place right next to another and its so nice there.
