I read this a couple of months ago it has a lot of helpful tips

I did the veil and slip thing already (not even sure if I'm using a slip but price was too good to resist)

Definately saved on the 100's bridal stores want

some other money saving tips...

for those girls who don't want to spend thousands on a wedding dress that you'll really only wear for a few hours...

there's a lot of bridal salons in queens (and the one i'm using, in brooklyn) that offer packages, and within these packages, you can basically rent you wedding gown, veil, DOJ, bm dresses, tuxes, limos, photography, videography, etc for a very low cost.
