Can anyone recommend an Engagement party place for less that $40? I would love something $20-$30pp but it seems impossible

I had mine at Jackie Reilly's in Bethpage. It was a buffet lunch, no DJ or anything but it was a nice party! We paid like $27 per person, beer wine and soda, tax included. They were super nice and the service was great!

What area do you want to be in? Check out Garden Grille in Smithtown; Butterfields in Hauppauge; Woobly Olive in Hauppauge; Maxwells in Islip; Bull Dog Grill in Amityville; Post Office in Babylon; The Library in Farmingdale - I think most of those places are less than $30 (or not much more)

How many people? My mom started doing research for rehearsal dinners, and Singleton's and Borrelli's both quoted $20-30 per person, depending on if you do no liquor, berr and wine only or open bar.

Sergios in Massapequa is sooo cheap like aroun $22 with beer, wine soda.

I'm doing Carrabbas Italian Grill (one in central islip and another located in Nesconset area) They offer a 3 course private luncheon; soup/salad- meal - and dessert for 18.50 a person!!

i had my RD at spuntino in dix hills - they have a private room and it was $25pp (not including alcohol)

I agree about Sergios. We had ours there for 18pp- no beer. A nicer place is Villa Lombardis. For a buffet, it's around $33pp, no alcohol. We are having a day after lunch there.

I had mine at the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram. Think it was $35pp buffet, beer, wine soda. Food was great, overlooks golf course. I had it in 2010 so not sure if prices have changed. HTH
