I have always heard such wonderful things about CB, so I was definitely SHOCKED!!! I definitely think the party was too big for their facilities. And, they were under-staffed.
Favors-- how about votive candles wrapped in tulle --veyr inexpensive and everyone loves candles
Chocolate Candy bars-- we are using these as our placecards-- and we are going to print them on our computer-- I havent tried them yet but am going to use heavier paper with a design in the background (maybe a floral design) so that the printing looks more professional and then we will buy the candy at Costco(Price Club) so much cheaper than buying them
What about National Wholesale Liquidators? I've seen voltive candles sold in bulk there.

Michaels craft store has a sale right now 2 votive holders for $1--
as for the candles --sometimes when you go with the cheaper candles that is all you get cheap candles that lose their smell and do not have a long burn time--if you get a great deal on the holders i would suggest looking into yankee candle --they really are the best candles---plus if you buy in bulk they give you a deal
