Cheap Hotels/Motels

So I was talking to FMIL and she would like me to try and find a hotel/motel for under $100/night for our OOT guests.

We are getting married at Crest Hollow so somewhere in the area would be good...def something within 10-15 miles

Any thoughts??

hey Lori I was thinking about this on the way to work on Monday from Dave's there is a cute little motel down on Jericho towards 110 going East from Crest Hollow. Its a AAA hotel you should see how much they want per night its a pretty nice looking motel.

not sure how much it is but when my sister got married 2yrs ago at Fox Hollow we stayed at the Executive Inn in Woodbury it was great, since it was a motel we were able to party all night long, they provided a free shuttle service to and from the rh and the next days private breakfast, my parents rented out a room, was reasonably priced.

The Executive Inn was very reasonable...about $115/night which I thought was great....I'll have to see if I can negotiate a bit

An econo lodge is a good idea also...

its not under 100 but the cheapest i've gotten quoted was $119 for the Executive Inn and Best Western in Woodbury (the sales person there works for both hotels, they are next to each other). They are right on jericho tpke.

I would really check into a hotel that is under 100. Chances are if they are that cheap then you dont want to stay there. I wanted to keep my hotel cheap as we had a lot of OOT and many of them are not used to paying LI prices.

I got the Melville Marriott for 129. Look into the big ones cause their usual business is during the week for the business travelers so their weekend rates are low unless its a holiday weekend.

quality inn on jericho turnpike in floral park is 99 a night prob a 20 min drive but at least its under 100

I totally agree with making sure the hotel is ok, honestly if I was specifically asked by FMIL I wouldn't even consider it..
