in suff. my mom lives in bayshore....id like to stay under like 25 a person if poss....even if its just a hall n we can bring food....my mom is remodeling her house and it wont be done in time for when i come up and i think my MOHs house is too small for it...

Mine is going to be at Mama Cucina's in Ronkonkoma. Their packages start at 19.95 pp and then they go up from there. Im not supposed to know any of this but I found out. Anyway...if you've never heard of it, it's a really cute Italian resturant. Good luck!

Sergios in massapequa is $17 or 19 (dependig on package)
Belissimo in Amityville is around $25
Bulldog Grill in Amityville (a Lessings resturant) is about 25/26 pp
Runyouns in East Meadow (a little further into Nassau) is about $21/pp.

I'm not sure where you are, but if you're around Hempstead I suggest Pompeii. The prices are unbeatable, the food is freaking AMAZING, and the service is great.
If you're in Queens, you can look into Verdi's, Laterna, Zodiac, and Mezzo Mezzo. There are others, but i'm not sure what price range you are looking at.

Ok, I don't know what you are going to think of this idea and I haven't looked into the price of what this would be but I'm thinking a Chinese restaurant wouldn't be too $$. I'm only suggesting that because tonight when I was at dinner the Chinese restaurant advertised that they can host showers.. ann. parties.. etc..... and Chinese restaurants tend to have decent portions that don't break the bank!
Just an idea....

Chinese buffets are very popular and inexpensive. Also there is Beachtree Cafe in Islip or East Islip that has good packages around $23pp

all the places i've called quoted me from $20-$40 the cheaper ones had a min of 20 people. ..
I am thinking of having it at someones house.. I dont know whos house I can have it at though..

one of my co-workers threw her SIL's shower at Friday's... I know it was no more than $20.00 per person & they got everything from an appy to dessert.
