its in the city in the wholesale district, its called b&j wholesale supply and its on 28th street and 6th avenue. They have TONS of different types of vases, but get the right ones bc they have a no return, no exchange police EVER thing lol
Denise -- I forgot to tell you that I went over to 28th street (to the store you told me about) on Saturday morning looking for branches and crystals. I'll be honest and say I was overwhelmed -- suddenly I feel like I can't make a freakin decison about anything. There were a lot of silk flower stores -- I fell in love with a $12 silk orchid that I thought I could maybe incorporate into the design. I got soooo many ideas! I think that apple blossoms are what I was looking forall along. I plan to return in a week or two when i have a clearer sense of what I want. It was awesome there -- thanks for the info!!!!
awwww YAY so glad to hear...Did you find the all branch store easily? Oh apple blossoms well good that you know now. No problem, the wholesale district can be very helpful

I went into a shop where they had a centerpiece that was in a clear glass vase with apple blossoms, pear blosoms, queen blossoms, curly willows and off white pussy willows. It was held with stones and it was just beautiful -- very close to my original idea. Although i would like more crystals.
I also went to Mood fabric store (the one from project runway -- there is an incredible selection) and was also told no returns, no exchanges -- I was going to buy the entire bolt of ribbon but then I decided to hold off on it. I guess that's the only drawback

OH WOW that really sounds amazing
yeah i know, and i bought the wrong ribbon a bit over a week ago for my invites. I could've sworn it was the right size but it wasn't So had to go back and buy more and they wouldn't exchange it BUT then i needed ribbon for outside of the box and couldnt be as thick so came in handy and worked out after all. Same thing happened to my mom last year for my e-party she picked up the organza bags for wine favors for me since i couldnt make it there before they closed, well they wouldn't take it back. Then for my shower she ended up using the organza bags so also worked out
