Hello Brides, I have been dress shopping and looking at everything online and I needed some help. Has anyone ever used the website: www.bestdressprice.com It looks like I can order my dress for MUCH cheaper, but I am afraid this site is a scam. I know two people who ordered from best bridal prices .com (my sis, who was my maid of honor and my friend), and they received exactly what they ordered in the time that the website specified. They were both professionally measured prior to ordering, so the dresses fit as expected. Go to a bridal salon to have someone try on the dress before you buy so you know exactly what it looks and feels like. As long as you know what you want, get professionally measured and order based on the manufacturers guidelines, you should be fine.

MOST of these sites are scams. I'd check for reviews and a BBB rating before I ordered anything. I know netbride.com and rkbridal.com are reputable sites though.

I personally wouldn't, but if you decide that is what you want, I would check for reviews. I have heard horror stories, but then some girls have been totally happy with their online purchase.

when something is too good to be true it normally is ... but find out their return policy. that should say a lot!

that was me. I would check BBB and every single bridal review site that you possibly could check. though I didn't order a bridal gown online, i did try getting my BM dresses online and it was a complete nightmare.

look into www.gownfind.com this place isnt a scam and they are located in LI...the store is bridal elegance...thats where i got my dress from for a fraction of the price...

Actually they are a scam. They sell dresses they they are not authorized by certain designers to sell. They get the dresses from a third-party - not directly from the manufacturer as you would expect!
