Cheaper Off-site catering?
Hi! My fiancee and I are planning an outdoor venue wedding for the summer of 2013. We have to rent the venue, tents/tables/chairs/dance floor/lighting etc., and also catering. We're begging to realize that the overall cost is going to be considerably more than getting married at a traditional 'Hall', where everything is included in one package. The catering alone for an outdoor wedding seems to cost as much as is costs to have an entire wedding at a Hall!! I guess we kind of expected this but are really set on doing it outdoors. Has anyone here done an outdoor wedding and found an off-site catering company with a reasonable cost? Catering alone is coming in at around $14,000-$15,000 for a basic package, before adding or customizing the menu : ( Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!!!
