My mother needs one for college but only briefly. The book is expensive! I found it cheaper than on half.com on ecampus.com and the library (nassau library system and Hofstra) don't have it. Any other ideas on where she could get it cheap?

Re: Cheapest way to buy a textbook?
actually, ecampus beats both amazon used and the ebay listing! i guess that is what she is going to have to do!
This website compares the price of text books at all different websites. I've gotten some great deals from it!

Best Book Buys gives you comparisons of all the web booksellers. I swore by this site in grad school. It even gives you used prices vs. new prices for each website.
