As for major vendors, I have yet to book a MU and hair person :( and DJ.... We checked out 5 star entertainment (Brooklyn) and Fm Entertainment in LI.. since we are having a band, we only needed a basic dj package... I know there was neg reviews about FM in the past? so I hear? ugh... I really need to find a DJ but hate actually going to see them.. I wish they can just come to my door and perform

DJ is a tricky one, start going thru bride's reviews. most helpful to me was anyway.

I do nothing but check the brides reviews!!! and theres always the top 5... and I just need a basic.. alot of brides for the brides review, went with tommy tunes or fm, but Tommy Tunes is too pricey (I think) I heard he is the pricier dj??
I just dont want to travel so far to meet with him... his office is somewhere I never even heard of.. and I live out in Brooklyn

Tommy's Tunes actually gave us the best price out of 3. Definitely reach out to him and see what he can do. He was actually over an hour away from us also and we were happy we ended up getting there. He spent 2 hours with us - we were there from 9-11 p.m. after work and he never acted like he needed to get us out of there. Good luck!!!
