just scheduled an appointment to go 'see' and 'try on' my dress...........august 4!

fittings will be middle of august, will book the exact date when I am there for the try on.....
now, if I accidentally said the incorrect wedding date (as per the advice of many) how do I now go about telling them the right one? I originally said it was for 2 weeks of when my actual wedding date is, which is really when we were planning on a date, but taht didn't happen. Do I say, OH we just changed it? I don't want to pick up my dress 2-3 weeks early and have it sitting at home?

Yeah, just tell them when you ordered the dress, you were set on a diff date but you had to change it afterwards.

justs ay u lied. ppl do it allt he time. bridal reflections told ME that they are putting wrong wedding date on purpose. no need to lie. its something they do, too.

i would lie. i have my dress at my in laws, away from all the animals lol. im taking it to a friend of the family whose a seamtriss.

YAYAYYAYAAYYYYYY!!!!! i cant believe you even waited this long crazyyyyyy..... just tell them you changed your date right after you bought the dress, it doesnt matter the dress is already in what are they gonna say to you ya know?
august 4th thats a wednesday right? i prob wont be able to see you in it, take lots and lots of picsssssss

Sooo exciting!! I did the samething, I lied and told them my wedding is 3 weeks before it actually is. When I go back I'm just going to tell them that we changed the date!
