My hairdresser (who I have been using for YEARS) originally told me she'd come to wherever I was getting ready. When I was there last week, she seemed to have had a change in mind & told me that I (along with the rest of my BP) would have to come to her instead. I was beyond annoyed by this so I decided to go elsewhere.
My friend (who lives in Staten Island) recommended her salon (The House of Trends) to me (b/c they will travel on the day of). I went there last weekend for a trial & loved them! I'm signing my contract next weekend!

I'm just wondering if I should at least message my hair person to let her know. I'm kinda just annoyed b/c she told me one thing and then said something completely different.
Since it's your regular hairdresser, I would let her know. You don't have to really say much, just say that it was important for you to have someone come to you, so you started looking and found someone who would. If you don't say anything I think it might be a bit weird the next time you go for a haircut.

Congrats! I agree with pp you definitely should let your stylist know. Just be honest you wanted someone to come to you, she wouldn't you found someone who would.
