Check!!!

The church paperwork is FINALLY completed. It only took months to be able to arrange a meeting w a priest and my FH to be here from PA.

I think so fat getting this taken care of was the ONLY thing that I have been worried about.

Thanks... I have been trying to get this finished so we can start the Pre Cana bc my FH is in PA and I plan on moving there before the wedding and it is a big pain in the butt to get ANYTHING done when it involves him being there

How are you going to do pre cana? I have been putting off calling the church- we have a crazy situation. Getting married on LI, but don't want to use my parents' parish. I am living in Binghamton. FH's family is from the area but I don't currently attend their church. He is 4 hours away in PA for grad school. I have read that there are weekend retreats that can be done. But I haven't called the church yet to get any info.

Congrats!! I'm trying to get my church stuff in order too. Our church does Pre-Cana there but due to FH work schedule we aren't able to attend. We will be doing one of the weekend sessions (Sat & Sun from 9-4pm) through the Diocese. You can see all the dates and locations by going to http://www.drvc-faith.org and going to the registration form. Dates and locations are listed in the drop down menu once you scroll down. Good luck and maybe we will see you at one of the sessions!

The church that we are getting married at offers a weekend pre cana. So he is going to make sure that he is off from work and up here that weekend. We are actually trying to get pre cana done ASAP bc this is the 'slow' season at his job. That way he wont fall behind at work.
