Officially booked the church I LOVE...i hate the other church we're booked at.

it was super easy and the priest is AWESOME. way more laid back about everything and now i can wear my strapless gown and not have to get a nasty wrap to cover it up!

sooooooooo happy!!!!

just have to cancel the other church this week

And really, no strapless gown allowed in the other church?!?! Are these things I should worry about when we go to meet the Priest?!?!

some are kind of old-school it seems - he also wanted us each to bring in two witnesses to sign a paper saying we've never been married before in the catholic church and blah blah blah. oh and our baptismal certificates (which we got in april) were not recent enough - had to be within 6 months for this parish (as if something was going to change between now and our wedding day)

today this priest looked at me like i had 10 heads when i mentioned any of these things. he accepted our baptismal certificates no problem too! every church is different and most are laid back enough. we aren't parishoners at either of these churches either.
