Check and then some

Monday we got our marriage license! We actually went to FH's home town which was a victorian house with a fireplace with a nice town clerk who offered us candy and tea. Definitely not like going to one of the NYC or LI offices! It made it really special.

44 days until the big day. I'm starting to get nauseous.

Tentative closing on our house for 3/17 which means wedding, packing for relocation to Florida and planning a 5 year old's birthday party for the week after the wedding.

Mom had chemo Monday and feels yucky but she got a dress yesterday without me and it's just fabulous. She's plus size and wasn't having much luck finding something she loved that wasn't matronly looking

Worried about all the payments due but so far, so good. Tomorrow I'm finalizing the menu at my RH.

Canceled boudoir shoot because I was sick and photog was snowed in.

sounds fantastic! Where are you moving to in FL b/c my fiance and I are planning to move there after our wedding as well... so I'm curious. And yay for your wedding getting closer!

Thanks! Mom has stage 4 metastatic lung cancer but we're dealing with it day by day. FH's company has been trying to get him to Fla for 2 years now and they made an offer we couldn't refuse. We're building a brand new house in the town of Oviedo where the mean age is 36 and it's very family oriented. Schools rate 9/10 and 10/10. !5 min to Lake Mary, 45 to Disney, 45 to Clearwater, etc.

Lots of checks. Only thing left is my fitting, paying for things.

License application done and paid

M/U artist booked and deposit

DOC booked with deposit
70% response cards in and no NO's yet.

need wedding bands but we're having mine made from 14 diamond baguettes my grandmother is giving me.

So sorry to hear about your mom's health, but glad to hear she found a dress! it's little wins when health is concerned

Thanks! Mom is SO happy about finding a dress. Now to find that woman some hair! My daughter and I went to de Seversky today and did the menu and linen selections, walked through the mansion and she did a 'hearsal' of her flower girl responsibilities while her 2 stuffed animals sat quietly in their seats.

Got a few little upgrades too which was nice.
