Sunday was very productive and I even got FH involved thanks to the super bowl starting at 6. I ordered my dress at village bridal and i picked out possible BM dress there. I'm taking 2 BMs back with me next sat to try them on.

Then we went to the florist shop to pick Cp. I also changed around my flowers a bit and added an arrangement for the place card table.

Then we went to the mall and bought my engagement ring. I originally didnt have one. We just kind of decided since we were together for so long and have children together we should just go ahead and book the wedding. FH was paying on a ring but then I lost my job so he could afford to get it out becase he was paying all of the bills so now i am working again money is ok. I thought we were going to so he could go to GNC then he says lets just see what they have. Then he says just try some one and see how you like it. Then he tells the sales lady we will take that one. My face dropped and I almost cried. I really wanted a ring but was totally ok planning the wedding without it. Theres one downfall......THE DAMN RING WAS TO BIG AND THE JEWLER IS ON VACATION.....So i cant get the ring until the 20th.

Thank you and no i didnt cry. I didnt want everyone in the store looking at me like i was a fool but i am sure i will once i actually have it on for longer than 10 seconds. He really surprised me and i think i feel in love with him all over again. It was also nice to have our kids there with us. My daughter i think was happier than i was. She is 12 and loves the bling

thats great u got a lot done!!!! and omg how cute he just said we'll take that one i can only imagine how your face looked to bad no one got a pic of that moment because im sure it was priceless!!!
you should of took the ring and got one of those ring backers so u can wear it for now and then bring it back when the jewler was back in. thats horrible feeling to finally get ur ring and have to get it sized! thankfully i made sure we sized my finger many times so fh knew and there was no mistakes.. i dunno if i could give it up for a few days i be heart broken! its like leaving your house without a cell phone.. its like not having an arm HORRIBLE!

You are so right. Even though i only had it on for a few I feel so naked without it now....just like you said when you forget your cell or when i forget my watch. I didnt even think of the backer. Someone else said i should have gotten a guard put on. I really wasnt thinking clearly. I think i was still in shock.

I kept making jokes all day like: would you like me ane my ring to get you a beer or would you like me and ring to watch the game with you? He couldnt stop laughing. I'm like a little kid that just got a new toy....a very exspensive toy

Now to top it all off he just told me that since the ring is going to be in the shop for a few days he ordered them to switch out the center stone for more carats.....OMG I cant even take it. I really didnt even care how many carats it was or how much the ring was.
